HURRICANE BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

A recently formed tropical storm has developed strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is at this moment located about 300 miles south of the coast of California. Meteorologists are expecting that Barbara will intensify over the next few days. The storm is moving westward at a rate of 15 mph.
